How much is my Shipping?
Shipping is automatically calculated prior to submitting your payment information. Simply add items to your cart and proceed to the Checkout page where you will be offered Shipping Method choices and their prices.
How long will it take my order to be shipped?
For items that show an availability of "In Stock," orders usually leave our warehouse in 1-2 business days from the day you place you order. For example, if you place your order on Monday, it will typically ship by Wednesday if the items are in stock. Saturday and Sunday are not business days.
Special orders and personalized items typically take longer to process. Please refer to the "Availability" that displays on the top of each product page for shipping expectations.
When will my order ship if I order an out of stock item?
We strive to keep all items in stock, but occasionally an item on our site may be listed as Temporarily Out of Stock, Pre-Order, or Special Order Item. You are welcome to purchase out of stock items and we will ship your entire order in one shipment once all items on your order are in stock. If you need the in stock items to ship immediately, your order can be split for an additional shipping charge. Call or email us for a shipping quote to split your order. You can also contact us for an estimated ship date on your order containing an out of stock item.
How long will it take my order to be delivered?
Once your order leaves our warehouse, you can expect delivery in 2-5 business days by FedEx Ground, depending on your location (see below). This means that the typical delivery timeframe is 4-8 business days from the time of your order. Saturday and Sunday are not business days for UPS.
If you select FedEx SmartPost, the typical delivery time is 4-7 business days. Orders using our free shipping promotion will ship through this method whenever possible.
If you select USPS Priority Mail, the typical delivery time is 2-3 business days once the item has left the warehouse. Priority Mail does not guarantee delivery times.
If you select 2nd Day Air, your in-stock order will leave our warehouse in 1-2 business days (we make every effort to ship these ASAP) and then have a transit time of 2 business days. This means that the typical delivery timeframe is 3-5 business days from the time of your order. For instance, if you place an order on Wednesday for 2nd Day Air, it will arrive between Monday and Wednesday of the following week. UPS 2nd Day Air is guaranteed for delivery in 2 business days once the order has shipped.

Who is your shipping carrier?
We offer both FedEx Ground, with delivery timeframes as shown above. We also offer FedEx Smart Post, which is sometimes more economical, but has longer delivery times (1-2 weeks).
For expedited orders we offer FedEx 2nd Day Air and USPS Priority Mail. FedEx 2nd Day Air orders usually arrive within 3 business days from the time of your order (Saturday is not a delivery day for FedEx). USPS Priority Mail usually arrives in 4-5 business days from the time of your order with Saturday as a business day.
Please note, FedEx does not ship to PO Boxes. If you have a PO Box address, choose Parcel Post or Priority Mail.
Can you ship by Next Day Air?
We currently do not ship by Next Day Air.
Will I receive a tracking number?
Yes, when your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number. You will typically not receive a tracking number for special orders or personalized items that are shipped directly from the publisher. If you have a Yahoo email address, please check your Bulk mail folder.
What if I entered an incorrect address?
Please double check your address information.... if you enter an incorrect address and the item is delivered, it cannnot be recovered. No refunds are provided for orders delivered to an incorrect address.
If an order with an incorrect address is returned to BabySakes, we will refund your merchandise cost less the cost of forward and return shipping. We would be happy to re-ship it to a correct address with a re-shipment postage fee.
What if my package is lost?
If your package is lost by the shipping carrier in transit and the anticipated delivery timeframe has passed, we will file a claim with the carrier and re-ship your package without delay.
If the US Postal Service has reported delivery confirmation on your shipment, but you still have not received it, you can file a claim with the Post Office to be reimbursed for your purchase. The claim document can be found here: http://www.usps.com/forms/_pdf/ps1000.pdf. Simply fill out the claim form and attach a copy of your original receipt from BabySakes. The Post Office will reimburse you directly for your purchase and you can re-order the item.
If UPS has reported delivery confirmation on your shipment, we will file a claim with UPS and we will re-ship the package after a 7-10 day investigative period if the package is confirmed as lost or stolen. In many cases, these packages are located at neighbor's homes or tucked away in locations around the house which is why we do not immediately reship.
Do you ship to Canada?
Yes, we do ship to Canada and offer USPS Priority Mail International, USPS Express Mail International or UPS Standard. USPS Priority Mail takes 2-3 weeks to deliver without tracking and typically charges a smaller customs brokerage fee (COD) or $5-$15. USPS Express Mail International shipments take about 1 week in transit and have a similar low brokerage fee. UPS usually takes about a week of time in transit and charges $20-$35 as a COD customs brokerage fee.
Some special order items are not available for Canadian delivery including personalized items from Little Worm & Company and Jamie's Painting and Design.
Do you ship to other Countries?
Yes, we ship to select overseas destinations. Some products that ship directly from the manufacturer are not available for overseas shipping. We also do not ship certain breakable items, such as piggy banks or glass photo frames overseas.
Do you ship to APO/FPO?
Yes, we ship to APO/FPO addresses by USPS Priority Mail.
